Technical Product Owner
We are seeking a Product Owner with a passion for process improvement and technology to join our team and service our healthcare services industry client. The Product Owner is on the Agile team and is primarily responsible for ensuring the development team is aligned and working on our customer’s most important needs.
Partnering with the Product Manager, the Product Owner serves as the “voice of the customer” for the team and will manage key relationships in order to maintain business alignment with IT.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that user stories are well-defined, feasible, and aligned with the strategic goals.
- Participates in all phases of the product roadmap including early stage discovery through completion focusing specifically on development.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, customers, and the team to define and prioritize features and improvements.
- Understanding the needs of our customers and continuously seeking feedback to enhance the teams performance.
- Coordinates with design, product management, and architecture teams to capture requirements.
- Partners with internal teams to solve problems and identify trends/opportunities. Informs, influences, and supports product decisions, development, and launch.
- Clearly articulate and communicate detailed requirements to development teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Collaborate with architects, designers, developers, and QA teams to ensure timely delivery of solutions that meet customer and business needs.

Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, data science, computer science) required. Advanced degree preferred.
- 3+ years of data analytics experience
- 2+ years of Product Owner experience
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and SAFe, and experience working in a scaled agile environment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with the technical aspects of the product lifecycle and the ability to communicate requirements to developers.
Preferred
- SAFe Methodology preferred
- Healthcare and IT industry preferred
Work Environment:
- Remote work from home.
- Hours of work and days are generally Monday through Friday. Specific business hours will depend on client needs.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- The person in this position must occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, library stacks, office machinery, etc.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and printer.
- The person in this position frequently communicates with clients and coworkers. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
