Systems Analyst – Contract
We’re looking for an experienced Systems Analyst to provide analytical and technical support, working to define business and system requirements, develop or maintain applications, and deliver solutions that align with both IT and organizational goals. In this role you’ll bring both technical know-how and strategic thinking to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience working in Agile environments, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements
- Demonstrated intermediate understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC), with the ability to apply its principles in day-to-day tasks
- Review, validate, and test functionality of application updates and new implementations
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including iteration planning, team syncs/standups, and retrospectives
- Work with external vendors to resolve technical issues and support project initiatives
- Create and maintain system documentation and support end-user training efforts
- Assist with system integration tasks and generate reports based on business needs
- Provide second-level support for application issues, escalating when necessary
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 3+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst or similar role
- Experience with Agile methodologies, familiarity with SAFe framework preferred.
- Familiarity with tools like Azure DevOps or JIRA
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Healthcare experience a plus
- Remote work from home.
- Hours of work and days are generally Monday through Friday. Specific business hours will depend on client needs.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- The person in this position must occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, library stacks, office machinery, etc.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and printer.
- The person in this position frequently communicates with clients and coworkers. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
