Partner Manager – Full-time (FT)

We are looking for a Partner Manager to join our growing team. This role will be responsible for developing and strengthening strategic relationships with key technology partners, including Snowflake, Databricks, and other ecosystem players. The ideal candidate will work closely with the internal sales team and account executives to maximize partner engagement, drive joint go-to-market initiatives, and uncover new business opportunities through partner channels.

Responsibilities

The Partner Manager will be a relationship-focused professional with a strong understanding of the data and analytics landscape. They will be responsible for expanding and managing strategic partnerships to drive mutual success and uncover new project opportunities.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key technology partners such as Snowflake, Databricks, and others to enhance DI’s market positioning.
  • Collaborate with internal sales and account executives to align partnership efforts with business growth objectives.
  • Work partner channels to identify and generate new client opportunities and projects.
  • Plan and execute co-branded events, webinars, and marketing initiatives with partners to drive awareness and lead generation.
  • Manage joint go-to-market strategies, partner enablement programs, and sales alignment efforts to maximize revenue potential.
  • Act as the primary liaison between DI and its technology partners, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Stay up to date on partner offerings, certifications, and enablement programs to ensure DI is fully leveraging partner resources.
  • Monitor and report on partnership performance, tracking key metrics and adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Advocate for DI within partner organizations, ensuring strong visibility and prioritization within partner ecosystems.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in partner management, alliances, or business development, preferably in the data and analytics space.
  • Proven success in building and managing strategic partnerships with technology vendors such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar.
  • Experience in collaborating with sales teams to drive revenue through partnerships.
  • Familiarity with co-marketing initiatives, joint sales strategies, and event execution with technology partners.
Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong relationship-building and networking skills to cultivate and expand partner alliances.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and technical teams to execute partner strategies.

Work Environment: 

  • Remote work from home.
  • Hours of work and days are generally Monday through Friday. Specific business hours will depend on client needs.
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with clients and coworkers. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

Physical Demands: 

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. 
  • The person in this position must occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, library stacks, office machinery, etc. 
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and printer. 
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with clients and coworkers. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. 
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to advocate for DI within partner organizations.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to identify and capitalize on new opportunities within partner ecosystems.
  • Ability to manage multiple partnerships and initiatives simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot or similar) and partner management platforms is a plus.
